Founded in 2013 and based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Vision Bench is a boutique film and television production company developing scripted and unscripted work. Its slate spans features, series, and short-form storytelling across thriller, comedy, and drama.

Ian Wilson
Before turning his attention to film and television, Ian worked as a management consultant and project manager, much of that time in banking and financial services, then healthcare. His work meant taking complex ideas apart, finding a clear path through competing needs, and bringing people together to deliver them. That experience now informs how he develops stories and approaches production.
For Ian, structure is a creative tool. It shapes how a story reveals character, builds tension, and earns its ending. A thoughtful process also gives collaborators a shared path from script to screen, while leaving room for discovery along the way. At Vision Bench, he brings those instincts together in the development of original film and television projects.
